You'll be home early - it's the perfect Sunday evening!
Artemis has traveled the world making music in many forms — from Paris to Egypt and beyond — before returning home to Buffalo. She has become a familiar presence at beloved local venues including Duende, Nietzsche’s, and The Lounge at Revolution Gallery, captivating audiences with performances that are intimate, eclectic, and deeply atmospheric.
For this special Supper Club evening at the Caz, Artemis joins forces with cellist Alex Cousins of Strings Unbound for a richly textured performance that drifts effortlessly across genres and eras. From 17th-century opera and French café chansons to New Orleans jazz, Southern blues, New Wave, classic rock, and original music, the evening unfolds like a candlelit journey through time and place.
Highlights include Artemis’s French interpretation of “Crazy” by Patsy Cline, alongside songs by David Bowie, Annie Lennox, Sade, Amy Winehouse, Édith Piaf, Henry Purcell, Pavarotti, and perhaps even a little Led Zeppelin — all woven together with her own original songs.
Expect an evening that is soulful, velvety, a little unexpected, and always enchanting.
